Create Campaigns

From this section of the email marketing newsletter software you can create and manage your email campaigns.

When you add a campaign you have the option of sending any HTML page you have on the Internet or you can build an html email in our Build HTML Newsletter section. You can monitor the success of your campaign in the Track Campaign section.

Field	Description
Allow subscribed members to manage their profile	If this box is checked, your subscribed members will have the ability to manage their profile.
Campaign Name	Type the name of your new campaign in this field.
Subject	Type the subject of your new campaign here.
Send Email To	Choose whether the campaign should go to your email list or target lists.
To	Select who you want to receive the campaign from the options given.
From Name	This is optional and used if you want a name to appear next to the email address when the person gets your email.
From Email	Use this if you want an email address to appear when the person gets your email.
Reply-To	When the subscriber gets your email, the reply-to will be set to whatever is in this field.
Return-Path	When the subscriber gets your email, the Return-Path will be set to whatever is in this field.
Text Email Body	This field has to always be filled out because if the person does not have an HTML email compatible program then this email will appear
Select the one of the HTML emails that you built in the Build HTML EMAIL section	This section is only required if you want to send out a HTML email.
Location of HTML I want to send	Specify a link to a page that you have designed on this field.
Attachments	These fields give you the option to browse in an attachment file. If you want to browse in an attachment, simply click on the "Browse" button and select the attachment from your computer.
Send Email Date	Set the date you want to send the campaign.
Send Email Time	Set the time you want to send the campaign.
Send notification emails to the following addresses when campaign finishes	Type email addresses you want to receive notification that the campaign has been sent.
Monitor the number of users who read this campaign	If this box is checked, it gives you the ability to monitor the number of users who've read your campaign. NOTE: It only applies to HTML Emails
Track campaign in the user record	If this box is checked, you'll be able to get campaign statistics from the user record.
Monitor links within this campaign	If this box is checked, you'll see what links your users are interested in within the campaign.
When counting clicks, count 1 click per IP	If this box is checked, your system will define how it counts the most visited links within the campaign. In this case, 1 click per IP address.
Un-Subscribe Text	If this box is checked, the subscriber will have the ability to unsubscribe as a member.
Update Profile Text	These fields give you the option to show these options to the subscriber when the email goes out. To show the specified option, you should just check the option. Also, you will be able to modify the text that the user will be shown.
Share email with a friend	If this box is checked, the subscriber will have the ability to share your email campaign with a friend.
Personalization Field	You may personalize your email by using this following field.

You can test your email campaign before sending it from this section. Just click test campaign under the Function column of your new campaign.

From this section you can view the last time the current cron jobs were run or you can manually run the cron jobs. The system will store the last 6 times the cron job has been run.

If your hosting company does not allow you to run the command wget, then you can use the command

/web/cgi-bin/php
